Hello Dear Visitor,
Thanks for stopping by The WindowBox! I'm a Pinehurst interior designer who had my first brush with design at the age of seven. That's when my mother called in a wallpaper company to redo our big Colonial home in Pennsylvania. I sat watching my mother as she flipped through sample after sample. I was mesmerized.
When she breezed past a white paper dotted with lavender flowers, I stopped her. That paper, I knew, should be on the walls of my bedroom. That one choice and brand-new furniture in my room ignited a passion. I played with the colors in my room and frequently rearranged the furniture. Not only was the room mine, it was me. It was an extension of myself.
Years later, while working at Ethan Allen, I discovered the joy of helping others create spaces that were an extension of their personalities.
I launched The WindowBox in 2004 with the dream of transforming one of the most powerful spaces in a home: the window. A custom window treatment –fabrics, shutters, valances, shades and blinds– completes a room. Over the years, clients asked me more and more often to design their entire space. Nothing pleases me more than pleasing a client, so I branched out into full interior design, renovations and home staging.

As a Pinehurst interior designer, I work often with people in transition, whether it's a transition in style or in home size. It's a joy for me to get to know my clients and create a space that reflects their unique personalities. |
